You have a lot of what I would put into a Calvin & Hobbes site, I especially like the Snowmen section, and seeing your own creations under Fun Stuff. Your opening Java applet, the Calvin Creek, is rea ly quite nice. My roommate is taking a Java course at UCLA, and I've seen how complicated it is to do very simple applets. You put an interesting twist on a familiar image of our favorite two friends. I'm taking a Comic Art History course at UCLA, and lan on doing my Final Paper on Bill Watterson. From the other side of the pond comes a C & H fan. Sadly, only one newspaper picked up on it as far as I know, and the rest of the paper was rubbish so I didn't buy it much. It was left to the collections to amuse us all, and they did. I love the site, and cried with laughter at the Snow sculptures. No other comic comes close.

Great Page! I've adored C&H for years, and have in my possession every book Waterson published. Am I the only one who cried when I found out he was "retiring??" The one thing I love about Calvin & Hobbes is how, although it is a cartoon, you have to be qu te intelligent to understand it. Hi. I would just like to say that I have been enjoying Calvin and hobbes since They first came out in 1986. It seemed strange to me that in a previous strip called Calvin returns from the dead, Not by Bill Watterson, Clearly showed Calvin floating around the room and on the bottom of the strip it said the following because of copywrite laws, "The Calvin in this strip has nothing to do with the popular strip, Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson. If the Calvin here has the same name, or looks the same as any other cartoon character it is purely coincidental."

I have every Calvin And Hobbes book Bill Patterson ever wrote and I think that its the greatest comic strip in the history of our time. Its a shame Bill Patterson quit drawing Calvin and Hobbes.
