"At first glance, the windmill is merely a machine that taps the energy of the wind for man's work; but in that harmony of making nature work comes an even more beautiful story - a tale of how the windmill is not just any other man-made contraption but it is a machine that is intertwined with Man and his environment; a tale of delicate balance and harmony. Yet even more amazingly is the fact that in this michine lives a miller; a family; a life. The Windmill is not just a home but also a sensitive instrument that connects and communicates with the invisible. The wind is an ever so subtle and elusive element of nature, something that we cannot see but only feel. Wind is converted into a lease of life; an energy source. Farmlands flourish. People start to settle and multiply; a product of Man being able to tap this unseen and usually forgotten potential of the wind."
