"ErrorScapes attempts to position the contemporary natural history museum in today’s parlance of ever-changing, existing and dated means of classification in which exists a landscape of errors and ambiguity. It explores the dialectic relationship between the obsessive accumulations of archive material versus material displayed to the public in terms of efficient packing and archiving and unpacking into an uncompressed state for gallery viewing in a site too small for its program. The power of knowledge once held exclusively by curators of museum has now been redefined; user participation becomes essential in the way the new museum starts to organize and re-organize its collection. Change and flexibility are paramount to the new natural history museum."
